The Guest Experience

What to expect

Whether you arrive at 9am for one of our classes (children’s, teens, and adult classes available), or arrive at our 10am worship service, we will treat you as our honored guest. What that means is that we will greet you with a smile, help you figure out where the bathrooms and where classes are, if interested. If you have any special needs, we are happy to care for you.

There is also a guest center to the right of the sanctuary. This will have information on what we believe, children’s ministry, youth ministry, after school programs, men’s ministry, women’s ministry, and the studies we offer. There are also Connection Cards back there if you would like to connect or just have a question or prayer request. Oh, and don’t forget to grab a Guest Gift bag while you are back there.

What is the service like? Announcements, a brief stand and say hi, prayer, singing (guitar, piano, organ), offering is passed (guests should feel no pressure to give), weekly communion, and exegetical teaching (typically Pastor Jeff uses the ESV, but feel free to bring your own translation. Don’t own a Bible? We have some at the Guest Center. Keep it.).

What do I wear? You can come dressed casually or you can dress up, we aren’t picky. We will just be glad to meet you and get to know you. Most people here wear jeans, some wear khakis, some wear shorts, some really dress up. The focus here is to lift up the name of Jesus and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

Do you have kids? At BVCC we love kids!! You can keep them with you during the service or you can send them to our Children’s Church (which begins after the offering, kids are dismissed). We also have nursery available (when you walk in to the right) if you would like to take advantage of that.

Do you have special needs? Let us know what they are and we will be honored to do our best to accommodate you.

Questions? Some are introverted, some extroverted. Some love going to new places, some get nervous. Some have had great church experiences, some have not. We realize this. So we try to respect your space because we want you to be loved and cared for here. If you have questions, please reach out to Pastor Jeff (765) 350-4611, he is happy to care for you and answer your questions.
